Permissions needed

Any one of these grants access. Ask an administrator if the screen is not visible to you.
Before you start
- Access to the relevant branch
- A product, document number or date range to investigate
Complete the workflow
- 1
Set the scope
Choose the branch, location, period and optional product or movement type. Begin narrowly when investigating a specific discrepancy.
- 2
Follow the chronology
Read entries in posting order and compare quantity in, quantity out and the running balance. Each row identifies its source document.
- 3
Open the source
Use the document reference to verify the sale, receipt, transfer, return, adjustment or stocktake that created the movement.
- 4
Correct through workflow
Do not edit ledger history. Reverse or correct the originating business document so the system posts compensating movements.
Useful tips
- Export a filtered ledger when sharing an investigation.
- Compare location-level balances before concluding that business-wide stock is wrong.
Troubleshooting
A movement is not visible
Check branch scope, location and dates, then confirm that the source document reached its posted status.
