How quantities move
Complete the workflow
- 1
Create the order
Select the customer, fulfilment location, products, commercial terms and whether the customer will collect or needs delivery.
- 2
Record a deposit
Where policy requires prepayment, record the receipt against the order. It will be allocated automatically when an invoice is issued.
- 3
Fulfil products
Create a delivery note or collection note for available quantities. Partial fulfilment keeps remaining quantities open.
- 4
Issue the invoice
Invoice fulfilled quantities, apply eligible deposits and collect the remaining customer balance.
- 5
Confirm history
Completed orders and their resulting sales documents remain visible in Sales History.
Useful tips
- Use collection for shop pickup; do not invent a delivery address.
- A quotation may be converted into an order after customer acceptance.
Troubleshooting
The order cannot be fulfilled
Check reservation status, available stock and the selected fulfilment location.
